Christian Formation Programs for Children

Christian Formation is a lifelong journey of growing in our Christian faith. Children, too, experience and sense God’s love as they learn Bible stories, surrounded by caring adults in an environment where they feel loved and valued. More information about children’s activities on Wednesdays can be found on our PrimeTime page. Here are opportunities for your children to worship on Sunday mornings:

Infants

Age: birth to two-years old

Location: nursery room, which is equipped with a silent-paging system available for parents.

Toddlers

Age: two-and-three-year olds

Location: Children’s Place (located on the lower level)

Preschool

Age: Four-year olds to first graders

Location: Fireside Room

B.L.A.S.T.

(Bible Learning Adventure STations)

Age: elementary-school-age children meet in small groups to learn about the Bible and sing in the kids’ choir.

Location: various locations around the church.

Vacation Bible School

August 8-11 “ReNew” is our theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School. The Green VBS, Parable of the Sower, is brought to you by our Christian Formation and Stewardship Admin Teams.  Join us every night the week of August 8-11, beginning with dinner and leading into VBS for children 3rd-8th grade.

Safeguarding Our Children

We have adopted a Child Protection Policy for preventing the possibility of child abuse within our programs. Teachers, helpers, childcare and youth workers all undergo a thorough screening process before becoming a part of the staff, including background and reference checks.
